19. April, 2024T oday, 1.9. 2022 we are launching the "Flagship" of B\V winery, Riesling. From today you can buy these wines in our e-shop. The wines have been trained in stainless steel tanks, they have been blended on fine yeast lees for more than 6 months. It is this natural process that gives the wines enough time to stabilize, harmonize and finalize. The wines are then more extractive, fleshier, fuller, more harmonious, more complex, their sharpness and thinness are reduced. Furthermore, this process makes it possible to reduce the overall sulphur content of the wine, while extending its shelf life and creating the conditions for its archiving.
The grapes for all three wines were hand-picked in our vineyards, two wines come from the Hrubé pole and Náklo vineyards, one from Mutěnice. All the wines are from Ratíškovice in the Slovácké wine sub-region of South Moravia.
Specifically, three batches of the standard series of the 2019 vintage and one batch of the small Reserva of the 2018 vintage will go on sale, which we will introduce to you in the next few days.The standard series of Riesling 2019 contains wines that have already collected many prestigious awards abroad and made us very happy. Riesling Reserva no. 1834
2018 - dryquality wine with an attribute - late harvestwine-growing region Moravia, sub-region Slovácká, wine-growing village Ratíškovice, vineyard track Hrubé poleThe wine has the potential for long-term bottle ageing thanks to 12 months in French oak barrels from Tonnellerie SEGUIN MOREAU.The wine is greenish-yellow in colour. The delicate floral aroma of lime blossom is complemented by flowering irises. The palate is fruity apricot with green peach, full-bodied with zesty acidity, long and complex as the wine was trained for 12 months on fine yeast lees in French oak barrels of 3000 litres. An elegant big wine suitable for bottle ageing.

The next important date is 1 October 2022, when the standard range of wines for the 2021 vintage will be released. This year was one of the best ever in our vineyards, helped not only by great weather, but also by new technologies for reception and processing, which allowed us to process really top-quality grapes. So you can look forward to another exceptional range of standard wines from B\V winery, which will undoubtedly make not only yourself happy, but also your loved ones.
The third date is 15.10.2022, when we will finally release our white wines from the yet to be officially introduced Reserva Barrique range. The wines have been trained for 12 months in 225 litre French oak barrels and aged for over 24 months after racking. These are wines with tremendous archival potential and will still be in the early stages of their journey at the time of release. Reserva Barrique wines may not be for everyone typologically, but they are guaranteed to find their fans. The oak barrel intensity is very pronounced here, but it is important to us that the wines retain their varietal character and that their aromas and flavours are not dominated by the notes that barrique barrels impart to the wines. We only produce wines from this range in very limited quantities.
