Dear wine lovers,
In 2019, we sealed our very first bottle-fermented sparkling wine—created with a single goal in mind: to craft a wine with elegance, finesse, and character.
Today, on 15 November 2025, we are proud to present the result of this five-year journey: Sekt Traditionelle Methode 2019, batch no. 1903, originating from our vineyard site Hrubé Pole in Ratíškovice.
This sparkling wine was made using the original Méthode Champenoise, in which the second fermentation takes place directly in the bottle. The wine matured on lees for 60 months.
The most prestigious way to produce sparkling wine is through bottle fermentation, known as Méthode Champenoise, originally from the Champagne region. The base grapes are harvested with lower sugar and higher acidity roughly 100 days after flowering. After gentle pressing and primary fermentation, the wines are blended and bottled with the addition of a tirage liqueur (sugar and yeast).
The bottles are sealed and stored to undergo the second fermentation, during which the effervescence is created. The wine then ages on the lees for at least 9 months, gaining finesse and complexity. This is followed by manual riddling and dégorgement, when the sediment is removed from the bottle neck. The final sweetness level is adjusted with dry wine or dosage liqueur, after which the bottle is closed with a cork and wire cage.
Both the remuage (riddling) and subsequent dégorgement of Sekt 1903 were carried out with exceptional precision, giving the wine its noble character and elegance.

A sparkling wine of yellow color with golden reflections. Made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, produced by the traditional bottle-fermentation method. After 60 months of lees aging, it has developed fine, persistent bubbles, fullness, and richness. Its aroma combines buttery brioche with hints of tropical fruit. On the palate it is full-bodied, extractive, and vibrant. A noble, vintage sparkling wine suitable not only for festive occasions.
